The aim of the monograph is to present, concerning spatial planning law, the conditions related to the implementation of climate challenges in Poland. In five chapters, the key thematic levels from this perspective have been identified. The first chapter provides a broader review of the literature, attempting to identify how the topic of spatial planning is linked to responding to climate challenges in the universal international discussion. The second chapter identifies the extent to which the state of planning, (the coverage and structure of existing local planning acts) and the specifics of the demographic and sedimentary structure respond to the problems and challenges of the current and expected climate and hydrological challenges in Poland. The third chapter addresses the legal conditions for the implementation of renewable energy investments and barriers, problems related to spatial planning. The fourth chapter presents the cultural context of climate challenges in planning, and the final, fifth chapter deals with accessibility to green spaces under large cities. It is also the intention of the authors to provoke further discussion on the topic indicated in the monograph. Indeed, in view of the current challenges, it is much needed and also extremely interesting from an analytical and research perspective.}, abstract={Spatial Planning Law and the Implementation of the Climate Challenge.
